H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi is UAE Minister of Climate Change & Environment. He also heads the National Committee of Biosecurity and Emirates Committee for Sustainable Environment Research.

Previously, he served as the UAE's Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency, from 2010-2017. He was also the Director of the Department of Energy & Climate Change, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2010-2016).

H.E. Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui, is a UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of State for Youth Affairs. Aged 22 at her appointment (2016), she remains the youngest government minister in the world.

Her role focuses on representing youth issues and aspirtations, setting development plans and strategies for improving youth capabilities, in addition to further utilising their energy in various fields.

H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed Al Mehairi is UAE Cabinet Member & Minister of State for Food Security. Responsible for overseeing infrastructure development on food security objectives, in line with “UAE Centennial 2071”.

In Her Excellency’s current role, she has announced plans for 'Food Valley,' a food technology hub in the UAE, coined after the US tech hub ‘Silicon Valley’ and, in January 2019, launched the UAE Food Security Strategy.

UAE Minister of State and Exec. Chair of Abu Dhabi Global Market, H.E Ahmed Al Sayegh is also MD of Dolphin Energy Ltd.

In a 36-year career, his wealth of experience in private and public sectors includes: Vice Chair of First Gulf Bank and Emirates Wildlife Society (EWS-WWF), a board member of Etihad Airways, and former chairman of Masdar.

Adnan Z. Amin was the first Director-General of International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), from April 2011 – April 2019. In his two-terms, IRENA became the authoritative voice on renewable energy and a leading player in the global energy transition.

Amongst his many current roles, Mr. Amin is the Chair of the Global Council on SDG 7, an initiative by the UAE to advance the implementation of the SDGs and 2030 Agenda.

H.E. Dr Nawal Al-Hosany is the UAE's Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). 

Previously serving as Dep. Director-General, Emirates Diplomatic Academy (EDA), Executive Director of Sustainability at Masdar, and Director of Zayed Future Energy Prize; in 2015, H.E. Dr Al-Hosany was instumental in the launch of the UAE-led Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER) initiative.
