MyShelter Foundation is a non-stock, social enterprise that aims to create affordable and replicable technologies to empower grassroots entrepreneurs to generate wealth through sustainable solutions to move out of poverty. Through capacity building programs and entrepreneurial blueprints, the organization focuses on unconventional thinking for looking for applicable technologies that unleash the capacity of the less privileged to create income while improving the welfare of their communities.

Myshelter has been a pioneer in the field of alternative architecture in the country through building the first practice and livelihoods in building earth bag schools in Mindanao, bamboo classrooms in the Luzon areas, as well as plastic bottle construction in urban areas around the country.

Liter of Light is an open source energy program using shared strength of partnerships around the world to find available technologies and community skills building. The Liter of Light is both a day and night solution that provides passive daylight as well as charged evening solar lights such as lanterns, house lights, and streetlights through local skills building and sourcing electronic parts for building the products at the base of the pyramid instead of merely retailing imported finished products.
